Hatching Sands The Queen lays her clutch on the heated sands in a cavern at the far end of the Weyr. The sands are heated from volcanic activity below the surface, but no harm is done. Benches and stands have been cut into the rock wall along the side for the greatest spectacle to take place on Pern. Sub-board: The Hatching |

The Bowl Entailing all the parts of the Weyr exposed to the elements. High rock wall dotted by weyr entrances surround the entire bowl of the Weyr and few carefully maintained plants may grow near the pond. Sub-boards: Feeding Grounds, Bathing Waters, Mating Flights |

Dining Cavern A large cavern has been carved from the rock to create the Dining room. Tables are lined up and down the length to accommodate everyone and more. Great tapestries hang from the walls that tell the history of Pern. The Dias is placed at the far end of the Cavern for the "nobles". Sub-board: The Kitchens |

Lower Caverns Deeper into the rock you find the rooms for the dragonless weyrfolk, to each their own. |

Individual Weyrs Accessible only by dragon back, the weyrs are found by the ledges protruding from the rock wall. Inside is a chamber for the dragon to sleep, further back is the riders' chambers. Dragons enjoy to sun themselves on their ledges while their riders are busy. Sub-board: WeyrWoman and WeyrLeader |

Main Hall - 1 Viewing A LordHolder may greet his noble guests here, or hold court to hear from his subjects. It is a simple hallway to a large room where a chair sits at one end and it's lavishly decorated. From here you can locate the rest of the main cavern for the Hold. Dining Hall Past the Main Hall is a large room suited with several tables to feed an army or a feast. The kitchens bring the food and the tables are decorated to the season and celebration. Sub-board: Kitchens |

Holder's Apartments Built into a section of the mountain close by the Main Hall, this holds all the individual apartments of any of the Holders, built to any specifications of the holder. To each their own. |

Gathering Grounds An open field before the entrance of the hold that holds the entire fair-like productions of festivities, bubbly pies, feasts and celebrations. Held after a Threadfall, dragonriders and holders, anyone who wants to join! Booths are set up to sell any kind of ware, or delicious treats, anything you could want. |

Open Fields Where the beasts are raised and feed, the crops are grown and tended to, a place to romp and play when Thread isn't falling. Sometimes, teachings are held here in nice weather. Tended carefully to groundcrews should any burrow make it past the dragons. |

Lotha River A deep and calm river runs just on the outside of the hold, maintaining the water supply and giving the hold a nice swimming area in the hotter days. The area around the river is fragrant with plants and wildlife, kept safe by the groundcrews. |
